Blog Index stuck on two column format

Hello,

I am using the integrity stack, and I switched to the masonry format briefly to see how it looked, didn’t like it, and switched back, but my blog index page is stuck on two column format, with the pagination links showing at the top of the second column. When the page loads, it briefly goes to one column but then ends up with the two column view. It’s weird, but the page 2 view of the blog index outputs correctly in the one column format.

Can someone help me get my blog index back to one column format, full width?

Many thanks in advance for the assistance. https://mredsanders.net is my site.

Hi Ed,

First, your site is too slow at the moment. It is having a hard time loading. Please check in with your hosting provider. Check if you’re memory is maxing out.

Regarding the issue on blog, there’s an error on the structure. The content goes out of it’s main container below the footer structure

There’s also a JS error. We need to fixed that first:

formData.js:20 Uncaught ReferenceError: nfForms is not defined

That is coming from NinjaForms plugin. Please fixed that first or you could try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time. The erros occurs on the main content. Let’s check first if it’s coming from an outside code -> code that is not native from the theme.

If the issue persists after that, try going to Settings > Reading >Blog pages show at most: Can you set this to 1 and then check blog page again? In case the issue is gone after that and blog page is showing fine with just 1 post, then we can say that the structure issue is coming from your other blog post. We have start digging on it.

Let us know how it goes!

Thank you for these insights. I am contacting Ninja people about the error. Will take care of that first.

In the meantime I switched to Icon stack and this shows my blog page correctly. The icon stack has a problem scrolling the sidebar on individual pages. Will present this issue when the ninja forms people respond.

Many thanks for looking. Regards, Ed Sanders

You’re welcome!

Please let us know how it goes.
