Blog index pages all showing 1st page content

Hi - I have created a blog index page using the Layout Builder and one of your templates that generates Recent Posts. It all works nicely, except for the fact that when I navigate to subsequent pages using the page navigation (e.g. https://bcstaging.wpengine.com/blog/page/2/) it only shows the 1st page content again.

So it’s only ever showing 9 blog posts total. I’m sure there must be a simple thing I’ve missed here, but I’ve gone over the tutorials numerous times and I can’t see where!

Thanks for your help

Hello Dan,

Thanks for writing in! Please be advised that when creating an Archive Layout, you do not need to have a Looper Provider. You just need to run the Looper Consumer and you are good to go. To get your issue resolved, simply deactivate the Looper Provider.

Things to keep in mind: In archive pages, WordPress will dynamically generate its own loop. This is why you only need to have a Looper Consumer in custom archive layouts.

Hope this makes sense.

Thank you! I knew it would be something simple I missed.

Hello Dan,

Glad that we were able to help you.

Thanks
