Blog Excerpt not showing on Blog Index page

Hi,

The blog index page of a site I am building is not showing the excerpt - it’s showing the first part of the post body instead.

Can you help out please?

Thank you for writing in, please add your post excerpt on its excerpt meta box.



If you don’t see this excerpt metabox on your end, please click the screen options button on the upper-right of post editor and enable the Excerpt

The Post Excerpt was already entered in the Excerpt Meta Box - but it is just being ignored.

It seems you’re using a 3rd party plugin for your blog posts grid? Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the plugin/script developer.
