Blog background and facebook comments issue

Hi, I’m trying to change the background colour of my blog without a universal background change to the website.
I’ve installed the fb comments plugin and managed to test it with the universal background change, but my facebook comments have no background, i’d like the facebook comments background to be white, with the other background behind.

What is the best way to go about this?
