Blocking time on fa-regular-400.woff2

Hello,

Running the latest xpro (5.1.4) and iv’e noticed quite a lot of blocking time with fa-regular-400.woff2. I have looked at the form and i have “swap” enabled for my fonts, but i’m still getting 96ms for of blocking time just on this one file.

I’ve gotten to the point where the site is pretty fast - but i’m not done I need to do something about this file and wondering what else I might be able to change to defer it since i’ve already got swap for the fonts in the theme manager.

The ttfb and everything else is fine - it’s just really this one file that’s being a pain

So apparently switching it to “fallback” instead of swap had a huge effect on my page speed scores. I’m considering this resolved… would be interesting to know your thoughts, prior i was in the low 80s.
