Blank box above the classic video player when publish

Why is there a blank box above the classic video player on my homepage that appears on the website when published, but when I am in cornerstone editing it is not there? How do you make the blank spot go away?

Hi There,

Thanks for writing in! Could you please provide us with a URL to your referenced page, so that we can look into your issue.

Thanks!

The video is on the homepage with the large blank box above the video and also, I’m having another issue where one of the sections on the homepage layout shows in cornerstone but is missing on the live site. Are there glitches going on?

Hi There,

I see the issue that you have mentioned on your site. Did you try testing for a plugin conflict by disabling your 3rd party plugins ? Also try removing your custom CSS rules added and test.

If that doesn’t help, please provide us with our login credentials to take a closer look. Make sure to provide following information:

Set it as Secure Note

  • Link to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • FTP credentials

Thanks!

How do you set as secure?

Hi There,

Simply click on the Secure Note link below your post.

Thanks!

I don’t have that option on my screen…

Hi There,

Thank you for the credentials, but it did not work please check.

That white box above your video is another video element (empty video element), if that is not visible on normal view, try viewing your Cornerstone in skeleton view.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Thank you! I was able to see the extra element with the suggested view. Were you able to see why the rows shows in cornerstone but not on the live site? It showed up briefly but now is missing again. What other credentials do you need?

Hi there.

Which rows, It looks okay same? I see some rows that only have line elements, other may appear with spaces especially the empty one, it’s the only way to make the empty elements selectable in the builder.

I’d like to check but the credentials are no longer valid.

Thanks!

Wow, you really messed something up, I’m locked out of wordpress now…

Hello There,

I only log in once and I received an error:
“ERROR: Too many failed login attempts. Please try again in 1 minute.”

Do you have any 3rd party plugins that protects the site from logins? If you do, please login to your FTP and remove this plugin manually so that you can log in back in the dashboard.

Thanks.
