Beta 7 - Global Blocks hides any following content

Hi Guys,

Thought I’d share this to get your thoughts

I’ve had the same Issue

Thanks @scotbaston! Super helpful video. Will confirm here when we correct that issue. I also caught that you were trying to drop elements from the library over into the outline. That would be really handy and feels natural so I’ll add that to the list as well.

Much Thanks @alexander, even more so that the elements into outline is going to be added (Some times I don’t realise my own brilliance! haha)

@scotbaston, in your Global Block that kills the remaining output, would you happen to be calling another Global Block from inside that one? I wasn’t able to reproduce it until I started nesting Global Blocks like this: Bug: Global Content inside Modal Just want to make sure we’re talking about the issue, or if there could be something else going on.

EDIT: Or do you have a single layout applied to that page?

@urchindesign let me know if you can confirm either of those conditions if you don’t mind. Thanks!

Hi @alexander,

If you still have the login details for this site, please feel free to take a look.
URL is in the super secret bunker information below

There is currently the new recent posts element further down the page but the global block is a just a single level of Global Block

Thanks! Was able to get this one cracked today. Will be working in the next patch.

Apologies for the delay. Been to busy to look at this stuff.

This is not the case for mine. You can login as I provided my credentials in the other thread.

  1. I have a header.
  2. I have an off-canvas area in the header
  3. I have a global block in the off-canvas - this breaks my page. If I remove the global block the page loads fine.

@urchindesign, Gotcha! I’ve tested this again after the changes and it’s working properly now. Give it a try in the next patch once we get it pushed out.
