Best Way to Move Content from X into Pro

Hey folks,

I have my old website fabiofava.com wich uses X Theme. I’ve cloned (and redirected domain from) my old site voelivre.net into my new site fabiofava.org wich uses Pro. I’d like to move the contents from fabiofava.com (made on X) into fabiofava.org (made on Pro).

What would be the “gold standard” or “best practice” to do that? My old site fabiofava.com uses many Classic Elements, wich I’d like to convert or replace to the new Elements. What path you experts recomend me on taking to the best results (speed, SEO, etcetera), to achieve best results on fabiofava.org running on Pro?

I’ll keep looking forward from you experts, so I can take the proper steps asap.

Thanks for reaching out.
The Pro version is a superset of the X, so there’s no need to make any changes to your existing content.

Please note that Classic Elements are now deprecated. We recommend using the V2 elements instead. However, to replace a Classic Element with a V2 element, you’ll need to recreate it from scratch — unfortunately, there’s no direct migration path between them.

Hey @tristup,

I got it. It’s about to keep both sites open, add the proper elements, copy-paste text and add the images to the new site. I was thinking on exporting and importing the Cornerstone Section Templates, but it would import as Classic and I’d need anyway to add V2.
