Best Way To Insert Images Into X Theme

Hi

We are using X theme with Cornerstone and the website is to have a lot of pictures on each page, blended in with the text. Before starting we want to make sure we insert the pictures the best way. Can someone please point out the best way to load pictures for:

  1. being able to place the pictures in different areas on the web pages easily
  2. to work well with Google (what should we be doing so Google recognizes our pictures in the best way?)
  3. being able to resize the pictures once they are on the page (or does this have to be done in a program outside of Cornerstone?)

Hi There,

You can use the image element in Cornerstone.

Ideally you will re-size your images outside of Wordpres using Photoshop or similar software.

It does not need to be perect sized, but dont use an image with 1800px width when you need on your page just 500px width for example.

Once you have added your image on Cornerstone, on the image element tab, at the very bottom, you will find a style box, you can add :

max-width: 300px; margin: auto;

Change the 300px for the desired with.

Google will index your images as well, you have all the attributes on Wordpress Media Gallery and on the Image Element on Cornerstone.
