Best practices for page building

Hi, I’m still very new at using Themeco Pro and was wondering what is the best practice for building a page using sections?

Here is an example that I’ve created for a testimonial page where each testimonial is its own section containing a row with 2 columns. One column for the testimonial itself and one for the details testimonial.

I like this way of constructing the elements on the page because it makes it very easy to duplicate a section for the next testimonial.

Is my method correct, or is there a better way?

Hello FD_Admin,

Thanks for writing in! Regretfully we cannot check your site because it is somehow not showing. The page maybe in draft mode or privately published only.

Anyways, sections are used for a group of information related to each other. For example in a homepage, you will commonly have sections to separate the banner image, introduction, about information and the contact section. For each section, you insert a row and number of columns. Just like in a contact section where you can have a two row and columns section illustrated below:

Homepage:

  • section
    • row
      • column
        • banner image
  • section
    • row
      • column
        • introduction
  • section
    • row
      • column
        • about information
  • section
    • row
      • column
        • contact section

For a Typical Contact Section:

  • section
    • row
      • column
        • Contact Us title heading
    • row
      • left column
        • Contact Form
      • right column
        • Your Address information

Hope this makes sense.
