Best practices for footer items?

Hello. I am working on my footer for my webpage and wondering the best practices to set up my items. I have two short navigation inline items and a contact information portion. I currently have the contact information as “Headlines” as it was the easiest way for me to have an Icon and Text. I am thinking this isn’t the correct way. What is the best way to approach this now and in the future? I would also like the item to highlight when I hover over it like my two inline navigation portions. What setting should I use for the text?

Thanks!

Hello @sterlinghealan,

Thanks for writing to us.

Yes, the Headline element has the option to set the text and icon together, in case you want to change the different HTML tags you may set it from here.

Hope it helps
Thanks

Thank you for the reply. I understand how to change the HTML tags on my items but was wondering what the best practice is for including a text in the footer is? should I make the red highlighted items a button, headline, clickable text? And also what HTML tag is best practice to use for such items? Clearly H1 is not the tag to use…

Thanks

Hey Sterling,

Instead of using the HTML tag h1, you can use div or span in creating your contact information.

Hope that helps.
