Hi There,

I could see that you’ve done all of those steps in this ticket: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/cannot-edit-section-of-site/39622/3 but the issue still persist.

In this case, would you mind providing us with login credentials(by clicking on the Secure Note button at the bottom) so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

  • Link login to your site
  • WordPress Admin username / password
  • FTP credentials

Thanks.

Hi There,

The password of your admin account is incorrect. Is this your website https://cloudmakersdecor.com/?

Could you please double check?

Thank you.

Yes this is my website im checking now what went wrong

Hello There,

I did some further investigation. I noticed that you are using an older PHP version 5.4.43 and WordPress 4.7 requires at least 7.2 (https://wordpress.org/about/requirements/). This could possibly be the cause of the issue. In most cases you cannot update your PHP version yourself and need to contact your host about this. The upgrade process is an easy process and should be something your host can do for you without affecting your website or charging you for it. Here’s a letter you can send to your hosting company:

Dear host,

I'm interested in running the open-source WordPress <https://wordpress.org/> web software and
I was wondering if my account supported the following:

- PHP 7 or greater
- MySQL 5.6 or greater
- The mod_rewrite Apache module
- HTTPS support

Looking forward to your reply.

Hope this helps. Kindly let us know.

Talked to my hosting company they upgraded what they could

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! I have tested the page and I was able to edit the page in Cornerstone. It is just that the custom headline is not displaying in the preview.

You can always use the skeleton mode when editing for faster response and easy access of all the elements in the preview area. This is also helpful especially if one of the sections or elements is not visible or hidden in selected screen size or you may have applied visibility options to a section of element.

Hope this helps.
