BBpress in Pro child theme

Hello to all,

I reiterate my question about the customization of BBpress forums in a child theme. (My previous post was unfortunately closed too quickly, and the answer I got did not work : https://theme.co/forum/t/bbpress-forums-customization/95273 ).

I can’t manage to place correctly the files placed in the PRO theme (pro > framework > legacy > templates > bbpress) in the child theme in order to make non-destructive modifications.

Until then, I am unfortunately forced to modify directly the files in the parent theme, which poses a lot of maintenance problems as you know.

Thanks for reaching out!

If you want to customize the BBPress forums in a child theme, your file should be inside on this folder Pro_Child > bbpress. It is not advisable to edit the core files because when you update the parent theme, the code will vanish.
