BB Press not working on new install of New X Pro

HI just doing a fresh install with bbpress - cannot seems to get the plugin to even function correctly – have received the following error - FATAL ERROR: CALL TO UNDEFINED FUNCTION X_GET_BREADCRUMB_DELIMITER() IN /HOME/TRUESACREDUNION/STAGING.TRUESACREDUNION.COM/WP-CONTENT/THEMES/PRO/FRAMEWORK/FUNCTIONS/GLOBAL/PLUGINS/BBPRESS.PHP ON LINE 439

Can you advise.

Many thanks

Hi There,

I couldn’t find that error message: http://staging.truesacredunion.com/forums/topic/feeling-trapped/

Could you please send us the URL?

Thanks.

This is an error we are getting when we try to do anything with the forum. We cannot get the forum plugin to work at all actually. But we have used the short code to put the forum and it doesn’t work. When we do anything around the plugin, we get the above errors. It’s a FUNCTION error, not a page error. Can you please investigate why the BBPress plugin is not working in the new Pro. We are getting pretty frustrated because we are also not able to get WooCommerce to work either. But that is a separate ticket… Thank you.

Hello There,

Thanks for updating in! Before we continue with the issue, please update Pro theme to the latest version. We have release 1.2.2 several hours ago. You can check the changelog here: https://theme.co/changelog/#theme-pro-1-2-2

After you have updated the Pro theme, please test your site again to check if the error still exist.

Please let us know how it goes.

We’re having the same problem after upgrading, and we’re running Pro 1.2.3, now when we enter the forums we get this:

Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function x_get_breadcrumb_delimiter() in /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/intfan/public/wp-content/themes/pro/framework/functions/global/plugins/bbpress.php:439 Stack trace: #0 /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/intfan/public/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(298): x_bbpress_filter_breadcrumbs(Array) #1 /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/intfan/public/wp-includes/plugin.php(203): WP_Hook->apply_filters(Array, Array) #2 /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/intfan/public/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/common/functions.php(1420): apply_filters(‘bbp_before_get_…’, Array) #3 /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/intfan/public/wp-content/plugins/bbpress/includes/common/template.php(2257): bbp_parse_args(Array, Array, ‘get_breadcrumb’) #4 /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/intfan/public/wp-content/themes/pro/framework/functions/global/breadcrumbs.php(280): bbp_get_breadcrumb() #5 /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/intfan/public/wp-content/themes/pro/framework/functions/global/breadcrumbs.php(43): x_breadcrumbs_data(Array) #6 /srv/ in /srv/users/serverpilot/apps/intfan/public/wp-content/themes/pro/framework/functions/global/plugins/bbpress.php on line 439

Hello There,

Are you using the latest version? please update to the latest version which is Pro 1.2.3. If you already have, could you please re install Pro theme. There might be some files that were corrupted during the updates.

And by the way, please do not forget to assign the Forum Root Slug in Settings > Forums.

Please let us know how it goes.

Yes, I’m running Pro 1.2.3, yes I have the slug set in bbpress. I also did a completely fresh install of Wordpress, with the Pro 1.2.3 theme and bbpress and the error came up right away. The only workaround I found was to turn off the breadcrumbs in the theme.

Thank you. Our forum is now working…

Thank you, that workaround helped us too.

Broken. This is broken. I did a clean install and breadcrumbs (php 7.0) wreck the page display.

Hey everyone, just wanted to let you know this has been corrected for the next release.

Does that include the problem with bbpress on X too, or only Pro?

It’s been corrected for both themes and the updates will be release simultaneously.

Thanks! Any idea when this might be?

No official ETA, but at this point it will most likely be the beginning of next week.
