Banner with text - different on every page

(i have x-theme) Hi there, how do i get an image straight under the topbar?

i can only find the option in cornerstone where i add a section and put an image there, but that doesnt look like the right way to do it. What i see people doing now is to have a wide banner with text on it in a block that is over the image. That looks so nice!
every page has a different image, so at what level do you add that?

i often dont know the right words for it, so it is difficult to find in this forum or google with not the right keywords.

You may create the banner image or the video using Revolution Slider.

Once you have created the slider, you can edit the page where you want to add the slider and assign it to the slider settings of the page:

yes thanks. I looks like it has become a plugin that i have to buy though. I cannot update without a puchase key? Is that correct?
And when i tried it with an image, to make a mockup slider so i could test it, it took the website longer to load. Is it a “heavy” thing, this slider?
It has a learningcurve, this plugin :). I will give it a second go later this week. Thanks.

It is a bundled plugin. you can use it without buying a license. Although not all features are available. Premium features are available when you buy a license. Though based on what you want to add, it can be achieve using the features available even without buying a license. Update of the bundled plugin will be available on the theme after we do a compatibility test. No need to update if it is not yet compatible yet.

And yes, it will add a few resources to load. Though if you have the minimum requirement for wordpress install, it will not be significant.
