Backgrounds not being loaded by CDN

I installed MaxCDN and noticed upon inspecting my site that background images on sections were not being loaded by the CDN even though everything else is.

Is there a reason for this? Like the backgrounds being hardcoded in Cornerstone or something? I’d just like to know how I can get those background images to be loaded by the CDN, so that I can have the fastest page speed possible.

Hi there,

The background images URLs are using the home_url function of the Wordpress to get the base URL and it is added to the database.

You will need to do a search and replace on your database to change that to the CDN link. You can use the plugin below to do so:
