Currently I have a situation where background videos only play in Internet Explorer Edge and no other browser.

Hi There,

Thank you for writing in, your video plays in both Chrome and Firefox it is just not optimize. 39.7MB is too big for a background-video.

Please optimize your background-video, make it less than 5MB.

@friech What operating system are you on. I am on windows and do not see it playing in either browser. I will optimize the video and get back with you.

I optimized the video and have replaced it on the site.

I tested in windows 10
Chrome: Not working
Fire Fox: Not working
Edge: Working

Are you in a touch device? Videos wont play on touch devices…

Hi There,

Your background video plays in Chrome and Firefox on our end (https://vid.me/e/OO10J), unlike before it plays smoothly now.

Try clearing your browser’s cache and any caching features you might have.

Is that windows 7 you are using? I am in the latest version of windows, Chrome and Firefox. If you have a problem there you may not be looking. I have cleared my cache, I have removed any browser extensions. Same results as before.

Hi there,

Another support here and I’m on Windows 10 too just like yours, and the video plays okay in my chrome. Have you tried it on another device? Or try re-installing your chrome browser, maybe it’s just due to cache remnants that can’t be cleaned.

I’ll check it on other devices too, but as of now, I tried it in two PC with same Windows 10 and same chrome and the video plays.
