Background section featured image

Hi, so I am trying to pull in the featured image for a blog post into the single post template layout as a background to a section. I am using this: {{dc:post:featured_image_id}} but it’s just not working. A featured image is set against each blog post. What am I missing please? Thanks

I suggest you set the type as a background image, then insert the dynamic content code into the background image source. Please have a look at the screenshot below.
