Background mp4 video not running

Good afternoon,

I have loaded a mp4 via FTP and then used that url in the background video option via cornerstone.

However it does not load… I have checked the code and it display this:

Seems correct? If I just search for the video works fine (in secure notes…)

any advice?

Thanks for writing in! You just have to set the full URL path to the video (https://snag.gy/ey1Nzs.jpg) and then it will render when page loads (https://snag.gy/KGi2fx.jpg).

Could you please provide us with the URL to your page to check the issue ?

Thank you for the quick response!

That is the odd thing as I have put the full url in and it doesnt run.

Go to the homepage and edit with cornerstone. It is the first banner background

Very sorry!!! My browser had java turned off! Just tested it on other browsers and it looks great thank you!

However linked question - can it work on modern phones?

Hi There,

Background videos do not work on Wordpress by default any phones due the cost of mobile data.

Videos will just work if you can choose to play it, at the moment for a mobile bakground you will have to set the poster image.

explanation about cost of mobile data is so funny …
People use 4G, LTE etc, consuming a lot of data anyways …
:-))))
I also need to implement a video background for my pro theme site,
for example, can you tell me, how is this made:

Video background played on android and iphone with any problems.
