Background Images Disappeared (?!)

I’ve done some research on this, and have determined that none of the forum/support articles seem to address my issue.

All of the sudden, the background images to my sections disappeared and all I get is a gray/colored background.

• Wordpress/Theme/Plugins are all up to date.
• Settings > Preferences > Advanced Mode is set on the page within Cornerstone.
• A Row/Column/Element all exist within the section.
• Advanced Mode is set within the Section itself, and a lower layer photo background is set.

I cannot determine why background images will not appear in sections, and why I cannot get (even new sections) to show a background image of any kind. I also tried to put a background image into rows and the same issue exists. No images will appear as a background within sections or rows under any circumstances.

This issue recently appeared on its own – the website was built and showing backgrounds perfectly fine last year.

Ok. I figured it out.

For some reason, it did not show that I needed the theme to be updated. But, when I logged out and back in (after updating Wordpress), then it showed that another update needed to happen.

Once I updated XTheme again, it resolved itself.

Glad you have figured this out and thank you for updating us.

Unusual issues like this appear when you have updated Cornerstone only. X theme and cornerstone should be both updated to avoid incompatibility issues. Thank you.
