Hello,
I have problems setting up a backgound image on a section or a column. I have built a few websites with X and never had the problem. At the moment when I’m the section, row or column element, I don’t have any options in order to set up the background. Thank you for your help.

Hi There,
Please navigate to X > Settings > User Preferences > Advanced Mode > select Always On:
After that you will see the Advanced checkbox when you edit the sections, columns. Check on that checkbox you can set the background image, color, … for you columns, sections:
