Background image is being weird

On the background images for many sections, this is happening:
https://douglascap.com/ - see how there is a weird gray space to the left? It disappears as I scroll and looks how it should. What is causing this?

I added a row above the header section that is blank and it seems to have fixed the issue. That will work for now, I’ll reach out if it stops working.
