Background image in a cell

Hi there,

We’re working with the grid element in Pro and are having an issue with moving overlapping cells front to back when one of the cells has a background image added. Does the front to back layer option not work when the cells have a background image in place?

Yes, that works if both Cells have the background images set otherwise the background image cell get priority over the another one.

Thank you @tristup - I think I understand but to be sure, you’re saying that if only one cell has a background image then it will always be on top of the two layered cells - no matter the move backward / move to the back setting - correct?

Hello @Deesign,

You can set z-index for each cell. For example, cell 1 with a background image has a z-index of 1 while cell 2 with no background image has the z-index of 2, you will still clearly see the background image of cell 1 unless otherwise you will place a solid background for cell 2.

To better resolve your issue, why don’t you send us the URL of the page where we can see your overlapping cells so that we can check your cell settings and could possibly give you a more tailored solution to your issue.
