Background Image Getting Cut Off

Hello-

All of a sudden, I’ve noticed that my background image on my homepage is way cut off. I’ve updated everything on the back end, thinking that might’ve been the issue, and also removed and added the image again. Still showing only a sliver of it.

Currently on my site:

What’s showing on the back end:

It’s been a while since I originally built the site so I’m a little rusty and would appreciate any help.

Thank you!
Mackenzie

Hello Mackenzie,

Thanks for writing to us.

It might be the issue of cache issue or plugin conflict issue because the theme and element style is getting overridden. I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

  1. Testing for Plugin Conflict
  2. CSS/JS Customization
  3. Version Compatibility
  4. Disabling Cache

If it doesn’t work for you, please share your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
  • Exact page URL

You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts

Thanks

Hello-

I’ve gone through all of these steps and the issue is still persisting. I also don’t have the ability to send a secure note for some reason? Am I missing something?

Let me know and I’ll send along my credentials. Thank you!

Hello @kenzi0106,

Thanks for sharing the login details, it seems that you have disabled the section padding just because the section is not getting the proper height to render the background image of the section. I would suggest you go to the Cornerstone page builder —>Section—>Padding.

Hope it helps
Thanks

Oh wow. No idea how that happened or how I missed that. But THANK YOU!

You are most welcome, Mackenzie!
