As described in this thread from back in June the background image fade settings are broken.
I wanted to check in and make sure this was still on the issues log and planned to be fixed as it’s been nearly 5 months.

Thank you for the heads up, I can confirm that this is still open on our issue tracker and have not fixed yet. It was not prioritized because there are not many reports of this bug (just the one you link), I’ll introduce this to our Dev Team and see if they can tackle this for the next release.
