Background color of navbar links

[jwvrooij]

Hello,

I’m trying to change the background colour of my navbar links at www.andproud.net, using this CSS:

.menu-item {
background-color:green;
}
.menu-item a:hover {
background-color:yellow;
}
.current-menu-item {
background-color:white;
}

It works for the normal state (green) and for the current menu item button (white). But I can’t get my background colour to change to yellow on hover.

What am I doing wrong here?

Thanks, Patrick

Hiya,

I’ve fixed this issue by using ubermenu. So all is resolved now; thanks!
