Just updated to 4.0.4 and if I try to edit a header it doesn’t show the header items… if I try to update a page it shows me the footer but not the page items… when editing a footer I see the page content but not the footer.

There might be a few different reasons behind the issue you are having, I would suggest you troubleshot a few common issues on this.
1.Plugin Conflict
2.Theme Update related issue
3.Child Theme Related issue ** if you have activated it.
4.CSS/JS Customization
If that does not help you, please provide login credentials for your site in a secure note to examine it further, including:
– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
To create a secure note, click the key icon underneath any of your posts.
