Hi,
My Aweber optin form displays okay on my desktop (in Chrome), but doesn’t display on mobile devices.
Can you tell me how to fix this?
Thanks,
Russ

Hi Russ,
Regretfully, we cannot provide support for third party scripts as our support policy in the sidebar states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Thank you for your understanding.
Hi Paul,
Right. That’s not going to be good then. I’ve used Aweber forms in other themes and they work right off the bat with rarely any functional issues (they look poor, but they do work). Hence, my dismay at hearing you’re not going to look at this.
I bought 7 X-theme licenses and, I’ll be honest, with the hours I’ve already wasted with what should be a simple form, I’m already regretting it.
I bought 6 of the licenses on Black Friday so I’ll see if I can get a refund - I can’t be doing with this.
Kind regards,
Russ
Further to this, Paul, can you let me know the process for refunding?
Many thanks,
Russ
Hello Russ,
Sorry for the confusion. I’ve taken a closer look at your screenshot and it seems that the iPad view is different from the desktop view. I am seeing that the iPad view is just displaying a bunch of codes unlike the desktop which is displaying properly. Please have your page edited and instead of using a text element, please use raw content element and insert your Aweber code again. After making all the changes, please clear your browser cache us use private browsing mode in the iPad and test your site again. If the site is live, you can send it to us so that we can test it as well.
With regards to refunds, I will forward your request to our sales department.
Thank you for understanding.
Hi RueNel,
Thanks for your thoughtful reply.
I’ll try what you suggested and take it from there. I bought these licenses as X theme was recommended to me and because it looks flexible enough for what I need. (Also because I’m fed-up of having to learn how to use new themes all the time.)
I figured I’ll put the hours in to learn this one and that should suffice…
However, when something this simple fails and the [initial] support fobs you off, you have to question the decision.
I don’t actually want to refund; I want my sites to work using X theme. So, if I can get this to work, then I’m happy to persevere.
Kind regards
Russ
Edited: further to this, I tried your suggestion and the form now works perfectly. Thank you.
Hey Russ,
