Autoplay YouTube video with audio in Essential Grid Lightbox

Hi,

Until recently it was still possible to autoplay (YouTube) video’s in an Essential Grid with audio enabled, but in the past few days I noticed that this functionality is disabled. It might have to do with the latest Essential Grid update.

I know about the Autoplay Policy Change, but I had hoped that it would still function when a user interacted by opening the Lightbox.

Do you have any workaround for this problem, other that disabling autoplay?

Hey Roel,

Thanks for posting in! In the latest release of the plugin, the creators have added a functionality to the lightbox option which allows autoplay videos muted, or wait for user interaction and play videos on demand unmuted. You can check out this setting in your Grid settings > Lightbox tab.
