Auto delete of .htaccess file?

Hey Themeco team,

my X Wordpress Website worked well for months. Since the last two weeks, my htaccess file would be auto deletet after few houers. If it was deletet, I go to Backend -> Permalinks and save my settings again. After that i changed the chmod of the new .htaccess to 444. But after few ours, the file is lost again and the page doesn’t work.

Do you have an idea whats wrong with my site?

Thanks for writing in! In most case, your server must have deleted the file automatically for some reason. I would highly recommend that you contact your hosting provider and ask further assistance from them regarding this issue.

Hey RueNel. I’ve fixed the problem. There was a malicious php file on my ftp. After I have dele it the page works well! Thank you.
