Author Archive layout: no suitable preview

Hi!

I have tried to create a Layout for the author archives. I made sure that Author archives are not disabled with a SEO plugin. The link to the Archive is active and it looks like this: https://example.com/blog/author/authornickname/

When I try to preview the Layout on a selected author, the homepage is loading. There is no suitable preview. I have tested this on two separate websites.

Thanks for posting in!

If you haven’t assigned a condition to your custom layout, you can set which page to preview by utilizing the preview manager first so that the builder will load something.

Thank you for your reply. As I wrote above, I did use the preview, but it is loading the Homepage. The preview is not allowing me to work on the Author page layout because the Homepage is occupying the Content area.
