I’ve been working on a website for a client and it opens with a video. It used to play with audio before but then Google changed their rules for chrome, as did Safari. My client is pretty adamant that the audio plays too.
Is there a workaround that you know of that will work? The article from Google provides some information but I’m not sure how to apply it to your theme and slider revolution. HELP! Thanks!

I’m not sure about their new rules, but I still do see videos being auto-played. Example, your provided site plays the video with no problem. I checked it on other sites and the video auto-plays too.
I created a sample on my installation to verify this and there are no issues at all. Video background is usually muted since there is no way you could interact with the background, but, mute option is something you can toggle off when you go to Source Settings of your current slider background. But, I’ll add this to our issue tracker for closer checking.

Yeah, the video plays just fine. It’s the audio that’s the problem. I do have Mute turned off. It used to play, then one day it just stopped.

Regretfully we do not have any controls over the browsers. The theme and the plugin is dependent to the browser standards on how the videos will be displayed or played along with the audio of the video. I am afraid that we might not be able to help you with this. We will try to reach to the creators of the Revolution Slider plugin if they can do something about it.
