Attachment Srcset causing images to be distorted

We had a few instances where we enabled “Attachment Srcset” on some images. We are not sure what update caused the distortion but it all seemed fine before the last update.

Here is the way they looked with Attachment Srcset on/off

OFF

Hello @designerken,

Thanks for writing to us.

I checked your site it seems that the image is working fine at the moment. Please make sure that you have not enabled lazy loading or image optimization options from any cache or image optimization plugin. You may check this doc as well for the image issue.

Hope it helps
Thanks

The link you sent has nothing to do with this issue. It’s not anything to do with lazy load either.

You see it working because like I stated i turned off Attachment Srcset on the image as shown in the 2 images.

Not sure if that is a bug or not but this wasn’t happening prior to last update of Pro.

Hello @designerken,

I have tested it on my end but I am not able to replicate the issue on my end. I have tested it on Google Chrome version 131.0.6778.70 WordPress 6.7, Pro theme 6.5.11, and WooCommerce 9.4.2 version.

Hope it helps
Thanks

I just did a simple test on local environment. Same issue occurs as the original post.

Steps to repeat.

Cornerstone > new component > section > row (looper based on products) set to 33% width > column (as consumer)

Column has an headline element, set to post title. The next element is an image set to pull in featured image. Turn on/off Attachment Srcset and you will see the issue.

Hey @designerken,

I was not able to replicate the issue on my local test server. I have used both the Pro 6.5.10 and the Pro 6.5.11 versions.

Could you please temporarily deactivate your Breeze plugin and test the site again? If you have encountered this issue after you have updated to the latest theme, kindly check this out:

Best Regards.

I noticed the point update for WooCommerce. We ran the update and flushed cache and all seems to be working again. Strange that I was able to replicate it on the local environment as well that was already updated. Restarted the browser and local server and everything was fine.

Today all seems be working normal again. Thanks for you time.
