Assignment header and footer since update to Pro 6.8.10

Hi, since update to Pro 6.8.10, I have sites broken because headers and footers were not assigned anymore. In Cornerstone in conditions, they are still assigned for example when front page is being viewed of entire site and frontpage is not being viewed but in the frontend no header or footer. I set back a backup and everything was good again.

Have you heard more of those problems?

Okay, this is test site I’m working in secure note. I had the same assignment issues at live sites where I had to roll back a back up to fix… A lot was mashed … On this site take a look on the assignment of the Header Tom FP to the homepage. In the backend it’s okay but in the front-end no header

Hello @cvdw,

I would suggest you please set the conditions as “Entire Site”. At the moment, you have used the AND operator. I would suggest you please use the OR operator and then recheck it again.

Thanks

Sorry, but I don’t understand exactly. Normally, used this on a lot of sites, if I want to show a header only with the homepage, I set conditions at Frontpage is being viewed. For the header I want to show a header on all other pages except the homepage, I set conditions on Entire site and Frontpage is not being viewed. This worked well till update to to latest version of Pro.

How would you suggest achieving this? I can’t update some sites now because they break. Also achive pages don’t have a header anymore after update.

Hello @cvdw,

It looks like there is an aggressive caching issue on your website. I increased the priority of the header settings, and the header is now rendering on the home page, while different headers are rendering on the other pages.

Thanks
