We have several sites set up using the PRO theme and I’m not sure why on some sites in the Posts dash we have the Section Column (posts can be assigned a section/page in addition to a category) and others we do not? Ive viewed screen options and its not showing up there either. Can someone please try to help? Thank you!!
Hi There @b-lynk
Thanks for writing in! I’m not sure which section that you’re referring to. Could you please post a screenshot of what you’re referring to ?
In the meantime, if you’re using the latest version of WordPress for some sites, you may see a difference as well for the post settings. For newer versions of WordPress with Gutenberg editor, post settings can be accessible through the settings cogwheel on top right hand corner.

Also you can use the quick edit view for quick changes.

If you don’t like the Gutenberg editor, you can install the classic editor plugin as well (https://wordpress.org/plugins/classic-editor/).
Thanks!
Please see screenshot. The posts have column titles of Categories and Section.
This is working fine on this particular site however on some of the other builds, the Section title is missing and not available in screen options. Have you seen this before? Thanks in advance!!

Hey @b-lynk,
Thank you for the screenshot. This section column might be added by a third party plugin, by default you should have the following columns:

Please check your plugin’s section to see which plugin is adding this column where it’s visible and install it on your other builds as well.
But please note that we cannot provide support for third party plugins or scripts as our support policy states due to the fact that there is simply no way to account for all of the potential variables at play when using another developer’s plugin or script. Because of this, any questions you have regarding setup, integration, or troubleshooting any piece of functionality that is not native to X will need to be directed to the original developer.
Hope this helps!
Thank you. We were able to resolve the issue and looks like it was the Cornerstone plugin developed by archetyped that was getting Sections to appear. Is this plugin part of the standard PRO packaged add ons? Thinking it may have been added that way?
Hey @b-lynk,
That plugin is not a supported plugin with Pro as it is from a different developer not associated with Themeco.
Thank you.
Ok Thank you Jade. Figured I’d share my fix in case any others encounter this as well.
Here is the cornertstone plugin (by archetyped)

When I click on view details it shows Themeco as the author so that is why I think we were confused on our end.

Thank you for sharing. That is weird. I’ve tested the plugin by Archetyped which is in conflict with our Cornerstone plugin for a very long time. I clicked View Details and I didn’t get the info like in your screenshot so this looks like our Cornerstone plugin somehow got mixed up with the other plugin only in your site.

In my Pro site, Pro prevents that plugin from installing so that could have existed before in your site.
You’re welcome
It certainly is odd and we have it on multiple sites however just couldn’t see why some had it while others did not. Glad we figured it out though
Glad we could help.
Cheers!
