Assigning Custom Header

I know I can use Conditions and Assignments to assign custom headers to specific pages but…

I’m creating dozens maybe a hundred landing pages. I want to use least 2 or 3 different custom headers for these pages. If I create a landing page template for say Group 1 that consists of 50 pages, how can I use a custom header with these pages without adding conditions using Page (Specific) for each page? I don’t want to have 50 lines of conditions in there.

I want to be able to set a Condition for a Custom Header where I set one condition for Page Template and have “Landing Page Group 1” in the drop down list with for eg. “Blank - Container | Header, Footer”

I’ve looked for a specific answer and I’m sorry if this has already been explained, please show me the thread.

Thanks.

Hello @danwedin,

Thanks for writing in!

You can group your landing pages by using the parent-child relationship. For example, you have a group of 10 landing pages, you can create a “Landing A” parent page and then assigned all the 10 pages as child of the “Landing A”. The same goes with Landing B groupings and then you can have a condition in your custom single layout like this:

For Landing A group:

For Landing B group:

Hope this helps.
