Assigning a preview image when posting a page link

Greetings!

Is there a way to

a) Assign an image to my whole website that will appear in facebook, linkedin, slack, etc sites when I share my website?

b) Is there a way to assign an image to specific webpages on my site that will load when I post that page weblink?

Thanks for reaching out.

The theme has opengraph setting for sharing data, but I’m not sure if it’s the same for slack. You can do that in Theme Options > Social > OPEN GRAPH, then you can set default share image in Theme Options > Social > SOCIAL FALLBACK IMAGE

The sharing image is also pulled from the featured image you set on your post or page. https://firstsiteguide.com/wordpress-featured-image/

If you wish to have many options then it’s usually doable with SEO plugin. Example, you can install SEO Yoast plugin and use its social sharing feature. https://kb.yoast.com/kb/getting-open-graph-for-your-articles/

I recommend contacting the plugin author about those features.
