Assigning a category with CS Forms

Hi guys,

I’m building a form to create Workouts (CPT) from the front end of my site using CS forms. I have everything set up with an input for the post title and another one for a custom field (all linked up in the Meta section of Post Create). This is all working fine.

But I also need to assign a category (see checkbox list) when creating the post. Can’t seem to find the option. Is there a simple way of doing this?

Hello Thibault,

Thanks for writing in! Though we can easily map fields as shown here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4FA0Gx4zMUM), assigning categories, tags, or custom taxonomies is different. The CS Forms Post Create action does not handle it for the moment. No worries because our developers are already aware and will be adding that feature soon.
