Aria-hidden true announced despite label

I’m running into an odd issue on a blog archive layout. I don’t want the featured image to be announced by screen readers and despite adding aria-hidden=true to both the image and cell, the element still renders with the default alt=image tag.

I was able to hide the other featured images below the hero section.

Thanks for reaching out.
I have checked the layout and found that the Alt Text is blank for the featured image. I would suggest you set {{dc:post:title}} instead of setting it blank. Also found that the aria-hidden attribute is added as a custom attribute to the Image and its parent Cell element.
