Are tooltips still a thing?

Hey there,
I’d like to know if tooltips still a thing in the pro theme? I’d like to activate them but could not find the option

The tooltip option is still usable through shortcodes:

http://demo.theme.co/integrity-1/shortcodes/popovers-and-tooltip/

But the new elements/v2 elements do not have the option.

How can I add an shortcode to an image, this way a tooltip is displayed when the image is hovered.
Talking about a pro image element not the classic image

The tooltip feature is not available for the image element in Pro and the shortcode and only be used for the Classic elements. It could be possible with custom development, but this would be outside the scope of support we can offer. You may wish to consult a developer to assist you with this. Pro is quite extensible with child themes, so there are plenty of possibilities.

ok that sad, I thought that pro would not be an downgrade and theme.co would deliver what they advertise

Hello @zerotoone.de,

A newer version of the tooltips for v2 elements is one of the feature requests that our developers will be adding in the future release of the theme.

For now, you may use the Classic Image shortcode with a tooltip in it inside a text element or a content area.
