every time I create a new page I get all these redirect as seen in the image. My question is are they normal? just seems like a lot of redirects for one page.

Judging the screenshot provided, the requests are all moved permanently with 301 status code. For more information about the 301 redirects kindly read this article:
This is not related to our theme and it is related to your settings of the hosting service provider. You can test that by changing the theme from X to a default one and you will still see the redirects.
You need to consult with your hosting service provider regarding this.
