Archive Layout - Pagination custom layout for 1st page

Hey there,

I’ve just built a custom Archive Layout for a Blog and I was wondering if it’s possible to have the first page have its own layout while following every page starting from the second one has just all the posts being shown in equal rows & columns.

Basically the first page has a custom design where the first Post has a 1 Column layout to have it shown as a highlight and the rest will just be shown in equal rows and colums. I hope you know what I mean.

I was thinking that I could maybe somehow create a second archive page with a different layout and that would be used as a layout for everything but the first archive page.

Is that possible?

Hello Phil,

That is a great idea and it is possible. Just create two separate Sections with the different layouts. You can then apply a condition in your Section like:
