Hello. For some reason my archive pages aren’t working at all, so that if I click on a category - it shows an error.

This is not an issue with the theme because nothing in it can modify the structure of the blog category. This could have something to do with your permalinks resetting your permalinks by renaming your htaccess file to .htaccess-bak. Then in WP Admin Menu, go to Settings > Permalinks and just click the Save Changes button.
Custom codes and third party plugins might also be the cause for this, please switch to the parent theme and deactivate third party plugins while troubleshooting.
