Hi,

Just using the PRO-Theme:

how its possible to create a “apple” icon menu with own/custom icons on top like in your demo? Is there an additional plugin required?

Best regards!

Hi there,

Thanks for posting in.

May I know which demo you’re currently referring? But, you can do that with Pro builder, please follow this

  1. First, please create your menu at Admin > Appearance > Menus
  2. Then Edit your menu items and you should find these options

Icon Primary, this will be the default icon
Icon Secondary and this is going to be the hover icon

Other options are

Image Primary and Image Secondary

With icons, you can select the apple icon, it’s there. And if you prefer custom icon, then you may use the Image options and add your image full URL. And with the image, you may need to define the width and height too.

  1. Then edit your header and inspect your menu, then choose the menu you created under SETUP section

  2. While you’re still in your menu inspect’s mode, please go to TOP LINKS > GRAPHIC SETUP section and turn it on. Then choose what you wish to display (the icon or image).

Hope this helps  Thanks!

Hi,

thank you very much. With Icons its work. With Images not. If I set an image with full URL theres nothing?! Cant figured it out. Also i don’t know how to get the Icon/Image on Top.

Beste regards.

Hi, I need it “exactly” like your demo.

This is a experimental site. If I all figured out like I need it I want to convert it to reparaturhelden.de

Thank you very much.

Seems like the update to PHP 7 has improved the latency errors.

Okay im sorry… figured out to set images instead icons. But the last question is still: how to get icons/images on top?

Thanks

Hi there,

You mean the other menu item’s images? Or is it the logo? You should use image URL instead of like this,

data:image/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB4bWxucz0naHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmcnIHdpZHRoPSc0OHB4JyBoZWlnaHQ9JzQ4cHgnIHZpZXdCb3g9JzAgMCA0OCA0OCcgdmVyc2lvbj0nMS4xJz48cmVjdCBmaWxsPSdyZ2JhKDAsIDAsIDAsIDAuMzUpJyB4PScwJyB5PScwJyB3aWR0aD0nNDgnIGhlaWdodD0nNDgnPjwvcmVjdD48L3N2Zz4=

Or perhaps, please provide more details and mockup design of what should be on top. All images on your site are on top.

Thanks!
