Appearance/Menus going to wrong page it should go to https://insightfultechnology.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php

The appearance menus pages doesnt go to my mega menu page anymore

it should go to https://insightfultechnology.com/wp-admin/nav-menus.php

but instead it goes to

Customise: Insightful Technology - Compliance in one single pane of glass

also when i hover over pro in admin menu all options are gone

it used to say header footer etc etc

loads of pro menu stuff has just dissapeared

do you have any ideas why this has happened ? also the whole pro editor is different

Hi Chris,

Thank you for writing in, please do the following first.

  • Ensure that you are fully up to date. WordPress, Theme, and Cornerstone (Version Compatibility)

  • Clear all the site caches (plugin, server-side, CDN, and browser’s cache) so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors. While you’re at it, please deactivate this caching feature while we tackle this issue.

  • Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If the issue persists, please provide us login credentials on a “Secure Note” so we can take a closer look.

Cheers!

Hi Chris,

I have checked your website and found the issue you described. I would suggest you check by activating any default theme like TwentyTwenty, and check if the issue exists or not? If the issue persists only with our updated parent theme, please copy your live site to a staging server so we could troubleshoot freely without breaking your live site.
And give us access in the secure note including:

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
– FTP/CPanel credentials to access the files.

Please note that in the last major release, we have separated the Pro and the Cornerstone, which was previously integrated within the theme. Now you can find the Validation and other Bundled plugin settings under the Pro menu and builder-related options under the Cornerstone menu.
You can find more details in the following articles.

Hi Chris,

Thank you for the credentials, please note that we answer tickets from oldest to newest, so if bump your ticket it will push back in the queue.

It seems this site https://insightfultechnology.com/ is under wordpress.com (not the common wordpress.org), there are differences on these two, one of that is how you setup the menu.

Setting up a menu on wordpress.com is in customize area not in /wp-admin/nav-menus.php so you need to get to use on that if you continue working with wordpress.com sites.

This is how we setup the theme dashboard now.

We separated the PRO and Cornerstone menu, all the builders (Header, Page, Footer, Layout, etc) are now on Cornerstone menu.

Hope that shed some lights,
Cheers!

no makes no sense everything worked untill 5 days ago the menu as per the support engineer from max mega menu told me should point to /wp-admin/nav-menus.php and now its changed to point to old woedpress location.

also there are lots of things not working not jyst admin location for menu

if i navigate to /wp-admin/nav-menus.php i get to correct screen and can edit menu but the butons in admin panel have changed

Hi Chris,

I have activated the TwentyTwenty theme at your website and found the same issue. It seems that you are using the Manage Hosting of wordpress.com, I would suggest you contact their support on this.

Thanks
