App Demo - Record not found

Hello, I just downloaded the App Demo but the Home Page displays a “Record Not Found” and will not allow the page to be edited with Cornerstone. Am I missing a plugin for this Theme by chance? Any help is appreciated.

Can you please confirm Revolution Slider is installed and is in active state? You can install Revolution Slider from X > Overview > Extensions. After that please try importing App demo content.

Hello, Prasant and thank you for your help.

I have made sure that my Slider Revolution plugin is installed and activated before I reinstalled the App Demo again but I am still getting the same “Record not found” in the top left corner of the screen. Also, it looks like a lot of the pictures are not being uploaded into my media library… Could this be related to the issue?

Hello There,

“Record not found” means that the slider did not exist. You might have imported the demo content while the rev slider is not yet active. To resolve this, please download the App demo slider from here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/i8zxgqkqkxancwk/app-home.zip?dl=0

You can import this in your rev slider pane. To know more how you can import a slider, please check out this documentation: https://www.themepunch.com/revslider-doc/import-export-replace/

And if nothing is working, please provide us access so we can import and fix the issue.

Hey RueNel, thank you for the help. After going through the steps you’ve suggested I am still getting a “No Record Found” error. The most frustrating thing is that Im unable to edit the homepage altogether in CornerStone to fix it… I’d be ok with giving access so you can view it just let me know if I should make a new user and what role I should give.

Yes, please create a new user name for us with an administrator role so that we can import the slider and test Cornerstone for any error.

Hi There,

Thank you for the credentials, I resolve the “Record Not Found” issue, by re-setting the Slider Below Masthead option of your homepage.


However, I believe your importing process did not go well, as demo images was not imported to your site.


But that should not be a problem, if you have your own images ready, you just need to re-set/replace those images element with your own images.
