Any way to reduce inodes?

Hi, I’ve been using Pro across 12 sites for some time and it’s great. However, I’ve only recently learned about inodes after hitting the limit with my hosting provider. Are there any ways to reduce Pro’s inodes or do I accept that this is just the way it is with this particular theme because of its features and builder?

All sites I manage have been updated to the latest version of Pro a few days ago. Looking at inodes across the sites (some complex, some very simple) Pro is averaging around 27,846 inodes for each. As a comparison, i’ve got Semplice theme running on another site and it’s 667 inodes, and TwentyTwentyFour theme is 119.

Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rachel,

Thanks for reaching out.
The Pro is a theme with many resources and services, and for that, it requires more inodes than the default theme you mentioned. Although it is very difficult to do anything on this, I will still discuss it with our development team and check if anything can be done on this or not.

Monday we’ll be sending the SVGs as a zip file to limit the inodes. Webfont will placed as the default again. Have a great week.
