Beyond the simple fade on some elements, are there any other options or tricks for animations? Basic example, I’d like my headers to fade or animation in as people scroll down. Same thing with images.

Regarding the header you have options on PRO header builder that the header just shows after you scroll to certain point.
Regarding animations, you have the columns fade which can be used to achieve that.
Beyond that you would need to do some custom development.
