Guys, I think it is a real shortcoming that the new theme elements (V2) are lacking the animation options. It is too limiting to just have the classing rows etc to be able to do this.

Any plans on taking this to the next level?

Thanks for your feedback. This topic has already been made known to our development team. There are no major developments yet with regards to this but please stay tuned for product updates.

Hi @quinex,

Just wanted to add to Christian’s comment that this is very high up our list. At present, I don’t think it will be part of the Layout Builder cycle which is the main feature in development, but we’ll keep everyone posted.

Thanks for commenting… it is really a needed feature as clients request it and now turn to other parties. (sorry , seem to have posted almost the same question twice)

Not sure if this is the best place to voice my opinion, but I agree, animations would be very, very useful. Love to see this bumped up in priority in development priority.

I’ll add my vote as well, and would specifically say to the team that they should consider integrating GSAP (GreenSock Animation Platform). I integrated it with my X-Theme install, and it works perfectly. Super fast as well. In the next month they’ll have a scroll-detection method, so there wouldn’t even be a need for ScrollMagic/IntersectionObservers for scroll detection.
