Animation wobbly

Hi,

I am building a site with some animated images behind a image with transparent areas that show the image moving underneath.

The animations are simple transitions along the x or y axis over 5 seconds. Sometimes they appear to wobble. If you look at the 3 slide in the header slider you will see what I mean…

I’ve set the motion to linear to try and smooth it out but there’s still wobbling now and then…

Is there anything I can do to prevent it?

Hey Darren,

I don’t see the wobble issue. Can you try visiting your site in different devices and make a record or list of device OS and browser name and version where the issue happens?

Hi Christian,

This is an example of what I’m talking about. It’s only a slight wobble…maybe best seen in the EVENTS animation when I watch it back. I’ve asked colleagues in other states and even countries and they all see it. I’m not sure what device or browser they are using but I’m on a 2020 Mac using the browser Sidekick, which is a chromium based browser.

Hey @DesignMunky,

I’ll post this in our issue tracker to be queued for investigation.

Please just note that we don’t support the Sidekick browser. The issue doesn’t happen in Chrome.

Thanks for reporting that it’s also in Chrome. Once we’ve replicated the issue on our end, will queue it for fixing.
